Khorazir’s 2024 Inktober(ish)

In previous years, I used Inktober to draw new ink linearts for my ongoing long-term project, my Sherlock & London Graphic Novel. This year, because I probably won’t have time to create an ink drawing every day, I will do something else. As of now, I have 137 uncoloured linearts. The plan is to colour as many as possible, and to create new ink (and watercolour) pieces for Sherlock and Dead Boy Detectives.

Inktober 52 2024 - Week 47 - 'Train'

SOUTHERN RAIL TRAIN MONSTER. IT RETURNS.

The train monster was something I made aaaages ago to vent about taking the train, and I also made (and utterly failed omg) to make this creature in 3D for my animation studies back in the day. I'll post old art down below.

The pink fuzzy critter is something @scifer and I came up with when we used to take the tube in London and how we'd clean it. We ended up imaging this big fuzzy worm that bred to think it's being chased, so it runs around the underground network, collecting all the soot, rubbish and mice in its fur which it absorbs. It runs itself to sleep. When they're retired; they're finally given a mirror to see they're not being chased.

Bonus underground cleaner worm. Maybe that's what's chasing it.

-Kate is allll into that paranormal/supernatural shit. Ghost hunting had been her back up hobby for years while she trained in archery and martial arts, etc.

-Yelena has absolutely no desire to even go near the topic, even when Kate practically begs to at least tell her a little bit about it. The most she’s willing to give in is through movies, and even then she’s grumpy about the whole thing

-I don’t know who here is familiar with werewolf!kate Bishop, but I adore her and I think she would be a super cool werewolf in my silly little headcannons. (Enid Sinclair, anyone?) I imagine Yelena would think it’s fucking awesome and go all doggy lover on her

-like seriously. Puppy Kate bishop? I love her. ACTUAL puppy Kate?? Please. Please please please please plea-

-currently obsessed with vampire!Kate as well, thank you Sinners and Hailee Steinfeld. Not much else to say.

-In a world with monsters and shit, Yelena is a badass and one of the most formidable hunters. Kate is either a monster she has to kill and instead falls for, or a fellow hunter from a rival group. This works with them swapped as well. Hunter x hunted is always so fun

This was nowhere near as cool as I wish it was but this ask has been sitting in my inbox for a HOT second and I needed to get Inktober rolling.

Gang I am here to sincerely apologize and state that my original plan for inktober is gonna have to be heavily revised. My mental health took a nosedive the last week and getting myself to write on a schedule is currently impossible. I’ll be sticking to random drabbles and whatever hits my brain and gets my typing going. I so badly still want to get a Witches AU out on Halloween tho (bishova, Wandanat, AND agathrio) so I will try for that.

Once again, apologies, this is not how I wanted this to go, but in the meantime I hope everyone is having an awesome spooky month.
